Since the procedure for replacing Notepad.exe on Windows ME is almost the same as for doing so on Windows 2000, there are no separate step by step instructions for Windows ME on this site. Please follow the instructions for Windows 2000, but remember that Windows ME is installed into C:\Windows by default, rather than C:\WINNT.
